Heritage collections for conservation. These are old books (over a hundred years), most of which constituted the first collections of the library at the end of the 19th century. They are not available for loan, but may be presented to the public at exhibitions. The local antiquarian book fund is indexed in the Burgundy bibliographic database.
Activities : storytelling sessions, reading aloud, school services, catalogue of new items for adults, themed exhibitions, performances, participation in cultural events such as Rencontres Ilot-Livres in Nièvre, the regional prize for college students and apprentices and national events such as Written Heritage Month and the Lire en Fête book festival.
An audiobook library for the blind and visually impaired. This offers almost 2000 titles recorded on audio cassettes. The collection is managed by the association Donneurs de Voix, while the library takes care of loans, directly or by post.
